July 2011- P.S.McHugh meets with local MP's

P.S.McHugh, along with Federation of Master Builders members and management, meet with local MP's Justin Tomlinson and Robert Buckland in Swindon. The meeting focussed on the challenging conditions faced by the Construction industry in the current climate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

January 2012- Contract awarded from Tapebrick Ltd 

P.S. McHugh Bricklaying and Building Contractors, are pleased to have been awarded the contract for completion of brick and blockwork and associated works from Tapebrick Ltd of Shrewsbury, for a substantial new build architect designed house at Rose Hill Stables, Lambourn, Berkshire.

 

 

 

 

 

 

P.S.McHugh now CDM 2015 Compliant                                                                         

 

Through our continued commitment to training, P.S.McHugh are now compliant with the new Construction and Design Management regulations that came into force this year ( CDM 2015 ).

We now offer our services as a contractor and sub contractor with the knowledge that your project is being run and managed safely and competently to comply with the new regulations as a Principle Contractor or Contractor.

December 2015 – P.S.McHugh secures another self-build project

We are pleased to have been entrusted with another brick and blockwork package for self-builders Mr & Mrs Birdsey on their beautiful new home in Inkpen.

 Sometimes it’s not just down to the price, it’s about experience, knowledge, guidance and quality of service, building a rapport, not just another house, but giving the customer confidence and satisfaction in their choice of contractor on a possible once in a lifetime achievement.

 

July 2017 - P.S.McHugh completes another energy efficient building.

We have completed yet another high quality extension with a warm roof construction and fully insulated floor and walls meaning the running costs will remain very frugle for many years to come. This will maintain the owner with a warm draught free building in winter and cooler atmosphere which will not overheat in the hot summer months, to enable all year usage.

The use of bronze antisun glass in the bi fold doors lets the light in but stops the glare of the full sun, the brise solie or overhang on the roof also shades the internal area from the full sun, meaning the internal rooms can remain fully operative throughout the year.

Three velux type roof lights were also installed in the reduced pitched roof to enable an air flow and ingress of light whatever time of year.
